Learn How to Stop the Bleed

Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. The greater the number of people who know how to control bleeding in an injured person, the greater the chances of survival. You can help save a life by knowing how to stop bleeding if someone, including yourself, is injured. Enroll in a FREE Course at Orange Park Medical Center.

Our free 2 hour course teaches basic life-saving medical interventions to control bleeding. Taught by members of Orange Park Medical Center's Trauma Center, the course was developed in response to the call from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Hartford Consensus to improve survival during active shooter and other mass casualty events. In these circumstances, survival begins with bystanders.
