ORANGE PARK, FL, June 7, 2021 –HCA Healthcare’s Orange Park Medical Center has broke ground on a new 60,000 square feet medical office building. The new building will house doctor’s offices along with imaging services and will be located on the East side of Orange Park Medical Center. It will consist of three stories that will add Class-A medical office space to the Orange Park Medical Center campus. The medical office building is set to open in early 2022.

The goal of the new space is to provide better access for patients needing care. It will include physician offices for general surgery, women’s care, imaging services, neurology care, ear nose and throat (ENT), and primary care.

“Not only will this new option keep patients close to home but it will keep them close to any other care they may need, such as MRIs or x-rays, or a trip to the emergency room,” said Dr. Scott Lind, a general surgeon that specializes in surgical oncology at Orange Park Medical Center.

Dr. Lind also serves as the Program Director for Orange Park Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education General Surgery program. “Having our physicians closer to the hospital will help our Residents. It will allow them to gain more experience in the physician practice setting without the travel time. Providing them more time with patients and more time in the OR.”

The project is being developed in partnership with Healthpeak Properties, Inc. “Healthpeak is very excited about our involvement in developing a new medical office building on the campus of the Orange Park Medical Center, one of the area’s leading hospitals,” says Healthpeak Senior Vice President of Brokerage, Jim Croy. “We believe there is a strong medical demand for this new state-of-the-art medical space in Orange Park.”

Also working on the project are architect Baker Barrios, Concord Healthcare, Holladay Property Services and Auld & White Constructors, LLC. Space remains available for lease. For leasing opportunities call Brian Wilcox with Holladay Properties at (321) 663-3953.
