Orange Park, FL - Today the organization Easter for Eli delivered 150 Easter baskets to Orange Park Medical Center ahead of Easter next week. The baskets will be handed out to the hospital’s pediatric patients, all babies born and those patient’s siblings through Easter. Baskets will also go to the healthcare workers working the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, for their children to enjoy.

The Easter for Eli initiative was started by the parents of Elias “Eli” Garret, who was a loving 3 year old boy that lost his courageous and long battle with Non-Hodgkin’s T-Cell Lymphoma, just 10 days before his fourth birthday. Since then, his family began collecting Easter baskets to be delivered to children who are hospitalized over the Easter Holiday.
