Orange Park, FL – Orange Park Medical Center is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Burnette, M.D. has joined First Coast Orthopedics, with offices in Orange Park and Fleming Island. The First Coast Orthopedics medical staff includes Albert Henry, M.D., Julie Barre, M.D., Ulises Militano, M.D. and Erin Laipply, PA-C.
Dr. Burnette has been practicing orthopedics for over 20 years and specializes in total joint replacement for the hip and knee as well as revisions of failed total joint arthroplasties. He is Fellowship Trained in total joint reconstruction from The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville. Dr. Burnette will provide a broad range of orthopedic care on an appointment and elective surgical basis.
Dr. Burnette attended The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, and then went on to the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his surgical internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and served two years at The Anthony DiLorenzo U.S. Army Health Clinic, The Pentagon. Dr. Burnette then returned to Walter Reed Army Medical Center to complete his Orthopaedic Surgical Residency Training. He served as a staff orthopaedic surgeon at William Beaumont Army Medical Center and was deployed to Iraq with the 1st Infantry Division, 745th Forward Surgical Team.
