OPMC Qualifies for Stroke Gold Plus Second Year in a Row

Orange Park, FL – Orange Park Medical Center has received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award for the second year in a row. The award was presented to Orange Park Medical Center on May 16th by Kathy Fenelon of the American Heart Association.
Orange Park Medical Center reached the Gold Plus level by achieving 85% or higher adherence to all Get with the Guidelines® Stroke Performance Achievement indicators for consecutive 12 month intervals with 75% or higher compliance with 6 of 10 Get With the Guidelines Stroke Quality Measures to improve quality of patient care and outcomes.
“This award recognizes our commitment and success in implementing a high standard of care by ensuring our stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, evidence-based guidelines,” said Amy Coutant, Coordinator of Performance Improvement at Orange Park Medical Center.
